December 9, 2021 - Group Brainstorming
The first procedure we have done for this project is having a group brainstorming session. This is an informal meeting which includes the discussion of the possible social issues that we can tackle for our project. After deciding on the social issue, we then formed an advocacy which will help solve the problem caused by the chosen topic. Several factors were put into consideration while choosing our topic and advocacy including the relevance of the topic to the general public and the ability of the group to address the issue within the limited timeframe given.
December 12-15, 2021 - Survey Preparation and Conduction
Our advocacy is created to address a problem commonly experienced by the general public, so it is important to know the demographics and psychographics of our target audience to better understand the issue and form possible solutions we can provide through the use of modern technology, specifically the social media platforms.
December 14, 2021 - Facebook Page Creation, FB Profile, and Cover Photo
The social media platform which has the highest number of active users is Facebook. That is why our team created a Facebook page for our advocacy. This way, our project will have a wider scope of audience reach. To make sure that more people will be interested in our page, we created an appropriate and presentable profile and cover photo.

December 15, 2021 Concept Paper Preparation
After days of researching and surveying the target audience of our advocacy, we proceeded to write the concept paper of our project. This paper includes the introduction of our chosen topic, the purpose and description of our advocacy, the support needed for this to push through, and the contact information of the team members. We also added the results of the survey we conducted on 60 people and the conclusions we drew from these data.
December 15, 2021 Wix Website Layout
Aside from the Facebook page, we also created a website for our project using Wix. If our Facebook page was made to post and share information about the topic we have chosen, our Wix website was created to show information about the team members, the purpose, the objectives, and the progress made throughout the process of developing our own advocacy project.
January 4, 2022 - Updating FB Profile and Cover Photo
Our team decided to improve and update our Facebook page profile and cover photo to make our page more pleasing to the eyes of the public. Creativity is important in this project because the graphics and layout are the ones responsible for attracting and getting the attention of the audience.
January 4, 2022 - Project Mission and Vision
We decided to create and post our own mission and vision statements on the website and on our Facebook page. This gives a quick overview of what our purpose and goal is for this project.
January 4, 2022 - Expanding Reach
After supplying all the necessary information (profile photo, cover photo, and mission and vision) to make our Facebook page look presentable and organized, we started expanding our reach by inviting our Facebook friends to like our page and to share them to their social media friends.
January 4, 2022 - Infographics
As part of our homepage, we provided an infographics regarding information on identity theft. The infographics quickly informs the audience about our advocacy on identity theft and what it is all about. Having knowledge on identity theft will greatly benefit our audience and prevent them from being a victim of identity theft.
January 5-12, 2022 - FB Content Week
In this week period, we updated our page twice by posting two relevant information about the topic we have chosen every day. We used a variety of approaches in sharing information such as video, graphics, and links. We made sure that all of our posts are quick-reads to avoid taking too much time from the viewers which can lead to losing their interest.
January 5, 2022 Wix Update Home, Project Definition, and the Team
Our group updated the content of our website and provided more information about our advocacy. We updated our homepage which now includes the about us section, infographics and latest updates, social updates, mission and vision statement, survey responses and conclusions, to-do table, and objectives completion. In the project definition tab, we provided our introduction, purpose, objectives, deliverables, and project constraints. In order for the audience to know the team behind the project, we provided our photos and described our position and what we do to make the project successful.
January 6, 2022 Update on To-Do and Timetracker Update
As an additional update on our website, we provided the to-do table which shows our activities and when we did them. We provided a calendar of activities to better oversee our work. As a report for our contributions and work, we also provided details on how many hours we worked on a certain activity with our objectives provided also in the table.
January 10, 2022 Update on Benchmark Dates
For a better understanding on the dates we have worked, we also attached our Google Calendar so the audience will be updated on our events.
January 11, 2022 - Update on Project Updates
We have provided more detailed information about our activities and projects for the given amount of time we should work. Posts on our fb page were also provided in this section.
January 12, 2022 - Update on Data Analytics
Our data analytics provides comprehensive data on the results of our activities and projects. We have provided information regarding the engagements that we had and also what objectives we have accomplished. The data analytics helps our group in reaching the right conclusion regarding the effectiveness of our work.
