INTRODUCTION

With the development of technology, more and more people become aware of how the internet works and what benefits it entails. With a simple click on a screen, you can already communicate with other people, know the current events, learn new knowledge, transact in a marketplace, share your ideas or memories, and many more. This is why as the population of “netizens” increases, and as online communication becomes more normalized, the people become more comfortable sharing their personal information on the internet. But no matter where we are, may it be in the real world or virtual world, there will always be one of us who will succumb to his/her own malicious desire and commit unlawful acts like stealing identities. So it is imperative to be mindful of what we share online so that we can avoid becoming a victim of identity theft.

purpose
Stealing identities online is a serious offense as it can affect the victim emotionally, socially, or even financially. That is why this project is formed to fight against Identity Theft crimes. With this goal in mind, the project plans to provide clear and precise precautionary measures and solutions to the internet community through ICT, in order for the netizens, including all age brackets, to become aware of identity theft and what they must do to avoid it.
objective
The main objective of this project is to make sure that the netizens, in all age brackets, are aware of the dangers and risks of identity theft. Consequently, we aim to make them knowledgeable of the up-to-date information on the measures they can easily take to protect themselves from this crime.

deliverables
To make our project as effective as we can, aside from this website, we created a facebook page. This is done to reach a wider range of audience since Facebook is the social media with the highest number of users. Our Facebook page is expected to contain various infographics and articles which contain up-to-date information relevant to the issue we want to address which is identity theft.

project constraints
Conflicts are inevitable in everything we do, and our advocacy project is not an exception. In the process of completing this project, we have encountered three constraints: the deadline, the budget, and the scope of the information we have shared.
-
DEADLINE
We started our project on December 9, 2021, and the deadline for the project presentation is January 13, 2022. This means that we only had 4 weeks to complete all the necessary procedures needed to make this project successful. In this time period, we had to squeeze in our brainstorming, project preparation, survey conduction, and audience reach expansion. Given this time constraint, we had to implement strict time management to make sure that all of these procedures were efficiently done.

-
BUDGET
Connected to the time constraint is the lack of budget. We did not have enough time and resources to present our concept project to possible sponsors and raise our funds. Because of this, our audience reach expansion is not as efficient as we would have hoped since advertising and boosting the posts on our Facebook page requires a substantial amount of money.

SCOPE OF INFORMATION
Our project also had scope constraints. Since our group is only composed of senior high school students, our knowledge about Identity Theft was only limited to the free reliable sources we can get on the internet. Hence, we were not able to provide more extensive information on this topic.
With these project constraints in mind, we did our best to think of alternative ways to overcome these shortcomings and improve our advocacy project in its entirety.
